Uniting industry experts to drive its global expansion in resilient e-fuel production

Securing Greenlyte’s lead in the PtX industry: Greenlyte unites industry experts to drive its global expansion in e-fuel production
Essen, Germany, 1st April 2026 Greenlyte Carbon Technologies has officially launched its Industry Advisory Board (IAB), a strategic task force with experts from the entire Power-to-X (PtX) value chain to drive the company’s scale-up, support its path to bankability and execute a de-risked go-to-market roadmap.
While the global energy transition often struggles with the gap between lab-scale innovation and industrial reality, Greenlyte is making a definitive move to close it and secure its leading position in revolutionizing the e-fuel production industry.
Drawing on the experience of its members, ranging from engineering and energy supply to global aviation, the board operates as a commercialization accelerator, focusing on the bankability of Greenlyte’s future projects, regulatory developments, and the integration of projects into the fuel infrastructure.
To bridge the gap between innovation and market dominance, Greenlyte has assembled a lineup that mirrors every critical step of the e-fuel lifecycle to commercially scale its LiquidSolar™ platform:
- Griesemann Gruppe, leading in engineering and construction of industrial e-Fuel plants with Björn Griesemann, CEO
- Lufthansa Group, the leading European airline group and a pioneer in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with Dr. Jan Pechstein, Head of Corporate Emissions Management and Sustainable Aviation Fuels. Their board participation complements the existing strategic partnership between Greenlyte and Eurowings, subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group.
- Uniper, European energy leader, with Dr. Harald Hecking, Head of Innovation / New Business Development
- MB Energy, an independent, integrated energy company and leading fuel supplier, with Oleksandr Siromakha, Head of Sustainable Fuels
- TUI Group, a global tourism group serving more than 34.7 million customers. The Group operates five airlines, which together rank as the seventh-largest airline operation in Europe, with Christoph Todt, Head of Environmental Sustainability TUI Airline
- Dr. Udo Jung, Senior Advisor & Senior Partner Emeritus at Boston Consulting Group and chemical industry advisor, supplying independent expertise
Greenlyte will invite selected guest experts to the table to tackle specific technical, regulatory, or financial challenges.
“I am grateful for the vivid participation - assembling these industry blue chips is a clear signal that Greenlyte has moved beyond just a promising concept. Their participation is a powerful validation of our technology and a strategic step toward securing our global lead," says Florian Hildebrand, CEO and Co-Founder of Greenlyte.
"Greenlyte’s technology is a disruptive force in the PtX landscape. We are bringing our expertise in large-scale plant engineering to ensure this innovation is successfully integrated into the high-capacity infrastructure required to meet scaled demand," says Björn Griesemann, CEO of Griesemann Gruppe.
“The aviation industry needs scalable and affordable sustainable jet fuel. We believe that Greenlyte has developed a promising techno-economic concept to address this challenge. The company’s unique technology is clearly a distinguishing factor," says Dr. Jan Pechstein, Head of Corporate Emissions Management and Sustainable Aviation Fuels at Lufthansa Group.
This task force de-risks Greenlyte’s trajectory toward 50kt/y GigaSAF production while offering board members a defining role and unprecedented insight into the emerging e-fuel infrastructure - securing Europe’s competitive advantage.
